The University of Kent is offering Biosciences International Masters Scholarship for the year 2017. International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
The University of Kent is a public research university based in Kent, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1965 and is recognised as a Beloff’s plate glass university
Applicants should be on track for a first-class Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject, or an equivalent non-UK qualification, or a Master’s degree at merit or distinction in a relevant subject or equivalent.
Degree Level: Scholarship is available to pursue MSc programme.
Available Subject: The Scholarship is open to overseas fee-paying applicants to any of the following Biosciences Master’s programmes:

Scholarship Benefits: Each scholarship is valued at £2,000.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
To be considered for the award applicants must accept an offer for one of the above programmes and satisfy all conditions of their offer by 31 July 2017.
The award is made at the end of the first three months of the student’s registration. The award is dependent on continued good academic and financial standing including full payment of tuition fees.
Scholarship holders would be expected to undertake reasonable duties to support the external profile of the School of Biosciences, for instance assisting with Open Days, outreach with the local community, working with the International Development Team and promoting the School of Biosciences in their home countries.
The student can hold the School of Biosciences International Masters Scholarship together with other scholarships for which they are eligible (e.g. the University of Kent International Scholarship for Taught Master’s students, Kent Cancer Trust Scholarship.).
Nationality: International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Entrance Requirements: To be considered for the award applicants must accept an offer for one of the above programmes and satisfy all conditions of their offer by 31 July 2017.
English language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
How to Apply: No separate formal application is required. All students who meet the Scholarship criteria will be presented with a cheque for £2,000 at the end of the three months review period.
The School of Biosciences reserves the right not to allocate this award to any individual it considers ineligible.
