About University: The University of Vermont, officially The University of Vermont and State Agricultural College, is a public research university and, since 1862, the U.S. state of Vermont’s sole land-grant university.
Degree Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate programme.
Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship Benefits: Each scholarship is awarded for four years (eight semesters) at the amount indicated.
Merit Scholarship Information for Out-of-State International Applicants:
International Distinction Scholarship: $18,000
International Excellence Scholarship: $13,000
International Merit Scholarship: $8,000
Merit Scholarship Information for In-State International Applicants:
Vermont Scholars Award: $6,000-$7,000
Patrick Family Scholarship: $4,000 – $5,000
Justin Morrill Scholarship: $2,000
Eligibility: A minimum cumulative 2.8-grade point average in your first year, and a 3.0 in subsequent years along with enrollment in 12 or more credits per semester is required to remain eligible for these scholarships.
Application Procedure: International students are automatically considered for several merit scholarships when they apply to UVM.
Deadline: The application deadline is November 1, 2017.
